Dr. Nasir Andisha is a career diplomat and academic. He was Deputy Foreign Minister of Afghanistan from 2015 to 2019 and is currently the Permanent Representative of Afghanistan to the U.N. in Geneva for the officially recognized government of Afghanistan. He served as the Vice President of the U.N. Human Rights Council (2020). He is also co-founder and Senior Advisor of the Center for Dialogue and Progress—Geneva.
